NYE - 2K7  -- Raise the Roof @ Shoal Creek Studios

Alpha and Omega --  separated by 12 of the best months of my life, the commencement and completion of 2007 were filled with merriment -- celebrating with the tribal family amidst the tall trees of Shoal Creek.  A couple hundred smiling faced wandered trails lined with Christmas lights and warmed themselves near fire sculpture by Charlie Smith, Jessica E, Jeffry Loy, and Gregor Smith. The Hot Toddies performed a death-defying routine on a bed of nails, Lori spun enchanting spoken word tales, and numerous fire performers shared their skills.  Hope you enjoy the images from the evening.

Saturday Nov 10th -- "Inspiring Futures" Fundraiser
The Creative Loafing is hosting a silent auction & fundraiser for the 2008 Bioneers SE Leadership Forum, coming up in April.  Lots of art (and a couple of my large lamps), the Lindsey Raker's Band, fire performance, and a showing of the Bioneers plenaries.  Located at the Creative Loafing space in Northyards. 6-9pm

Music by Ralph Roddenbery & the Deep Blue Sun, pyrotechnics, fire spinning, pimped out hearses, and perhaps an appearance by Jimbo's legendary "Blue Beaver" in all it's flaming glory.  Who could pass up this costumed extravaganza?!?
